Movado began in 1881 and has since received a number of awards for their distinctive design and manufacturing ability. 1947 was a big year for the company when their famous museum watch was developed by Nathan George Horwitt. Movado watches are historically unique and a Movado watch is the first and only timepiece with a permanent place in New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Movado’s luxurious iconic timepieces are globally recognized. Movado is one of the largest watchmakers in the world.
